Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay 2007

Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay truly captures the
character of Marlborough with pure, incisive, ripe fruit flavours. A
combination of barrel and tank fermentation and the stirring of lees on
oak achieves maximum softness and integration. To retain all the
natural assertiveness and flavour, no malolactic fermentation takes
place. Clonal influences in the vineyard have been very important,
providing smaller berries and enhanced flavour intensity. The result of
all of this is delicious Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnays with
concentrated aromas and flavours of ripe citrus and stonefruit,
balanced with subtle oak, and a creamy texture to finish.
Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot 2006

Generous red and black berry-like fruit with a hint
of dark plum and a touch of briary undergrowth. Well integrated smoky
and slightly spicy oak simply meld with the fruit expression and there
is a final touch of vanillin to the well rounded finish. Bordeaux style
barriques were selected from renowned coopers Taransaud, Saury, Seguin
Moreau and Demptos. These tightgrained barriques were air seasoned for
a minimum of 3 years, imparting subtle, toasty, smoky characters, spicy
complexity and structural tannin for enhanced mouth-feel and
concentration. The 2006 offers sweet berryfruits and spice, with fine
grained tannins and a lingering silken texture. Soft, beautifully
balanced and simply very gluggable!
Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Pale straw green in colour with brilliant clarity, Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
is zesty and aromatic with lots of lively, penetrating fruit
characters. A concentration of tropical and gooseberry flavours with an
abundant bouquet, it is a wine that is always crisp, elegant and
refreshing.
